The Jefferson Point business park afforded small to medium sized businesses and investors the opportunity to purchase their own business suite in the rapidly expanding Temecula / Murrieta region. The complex of five structures was beautifully apportioned with large windows, decorative exteriors, business friendly interiors, on a well landscaped campus. Shortly after businesses moved in, they began to report significant window leaks and groundwater related problems. These conditions culminated with one elevator taken out of service due to groundwater infiltration, and significant window leaks during rainstorms.

PCA was retained by the Owner Association’s attorney to evaluate construction related deficiencies in the building design and construction. PCA and a team of experts was ultimately able to convince the developer, general contractor, and key subcontractors to settle and pay damages to remediate windows, exterior cladding, surface and subsurface drainage, and a slew of other defects in the construction of the five buildings and site.
